"Politeness has become so rare that some people mistake it for flirtation".
(posted originally in Bubblews)

Just read this phrase and it made me think. The truth is I love to be polite and I love when people are polite to me, but is this true?

I think we complain a lot but if you think about your personal experience with ADULTS people still tend to be polite to each other. Maybe they don't know every rule of etiquette, and lets be honest, most of us don't need them, or know them, but they are polite...

I capitalised adults because I think people tend to define the world has being less "polite" through children and teenagers behaviour. And maybe 20 or 30 years ago children were more polite, but, lets be honest, teenagers never were.
Unless you think all adults are horrible parents, give them time, maybe those teenagers will be has polite has we are.
